January is here...

Well... the pictures below on the last post was the last time we went to Marysvale, we had plans to go again, but between having a lot of lab work, taking off to California for a week in Dec. and getting sick, we still haven't been back... in the mean time we are trying to play catch up here at home with a few projects. Marysvale got a lot of snow last month, we were glad at least this winter we had the roof on.

MARYSVALE TIME

... visiting and having a treat after we were done with the work.

Last week, Ed and I with the help of our friend Skyler (the son of our friends Jack and Jackie) loaded some of the furniture for the cabin, we have been keeping in our garage here at home, on our trailer and took off... This was Saturday, we had lunch with Ana Maria and Bryan and then they came with us to our place and helped us unload our stuff. Carl and Linda (Thomas) helped us too... Thank you so much everyone, it was a huge help.

Carl helped Ed on the roof, and I stayed on the ground (thanks Carl : ) to give them things they could need.

They worked until there was no more light, then we all ate a great dinner together at Ana Maria's and Bryan's cabin. I hope you guys all know what a difference you make with all your help, on building, a place to stay, with a yummy meal... You guys rock!

We got some work done on Sunday before coming home. It was hard work and a good weekend.

October 18th and 19th

We went to Marysvale on Oct. 17th and stayed until the 19th, the guys finished the other side of the roof, it feels so good to have that done, specially if the weather turns wet all of the sudden. Next time we'll be working on the sofits and then putting plastic around the cabin to protect it this winter. We really wanted to be able to finish all of the outside before the cold weather but $time wouldn't allow it ha ha ha... we are also moving our Dental Lab out of the house, and we had to share the $time : )

Mark and Sheri and Ravenna and Henry came to help, thank you guys!

...and the rest of the family...please don't worry about not being able to go with us the times we've talked about it, we can hardly find the time ourselves and it's our project : ) so we totally understand, we are looking forward to the time when it's all done and we can have some fun together there.
